§ 53.002. DEFINITIONS.

For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CONSUMER. The person, firm, corporation or association having an interest, whether legal or equitable, sole or only partial, either as owner, tenant or occupant, in any premise which is or is about to be supplied with water by the Waterworks.
PREMISE. Any building under the same roof and belonging to the same person, or any single piece of real estate, together with its buildings and adjuncts, and which belongs to the same person. Each dwelling house together with its outbuildings and appurtenances shall be considered a single piece of real estate or a PREMISE within the meaning of this chapter.
WATER WORKS. The Brazil City Waterworks, municipally owned by the city.
