(A) The owners of all houses in the city are required, within 30 days, to number their houses in accordance with the plan set forth in § 154.02, the numbers to be placed on a conspicuous part of the building and in figures not less than 2 inches in size.
(B) The plan or chart showing the numbers of the different houses on various streets, prepared by the city engineer and deposited with the City Clerk-Treasurer, as directed by Ord. No. 667 passed by the Common Council on July 21, 1891, is adopted for the numbering of the houses, as herein provided for and the chart shall be kept at the office and open to the inspection of any person desiring to examine the same.
