§ 73.99. PENALTY.

  • (A) Generally. Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99
    (B) Speed limits. Any person violating the provisions of §§ 73.25 or 73.26 shall be fined a civil penalty of $12 plus court costs as established by the court pursuant to this chapter.

    (C) Truck routes. A fine of not less than $10 and not more than $100 shall be levied against operators of any commercial vehicle violating §§ 73.40 through 73.44.

    (D) Emergency vehicle lanes.
    (1) Any person violating the provisions of §§ 73.55 through 73.58 shall be guilty of a Class C infraction and subject to a penalty of $5 and any vehicle so illegally parked shall, at the officer's discretion, be subject to being removed, towed and impounded at the owner's expense.
    (2) If the penalty is not paid within 10 days from the date of the offense, the penalty shall be $10.
    (3) If the penalty is not paid within 30 days from the date of the offense, the violator shall be summoned into court and be subject to a fine of up to $500.
    (4) If a person is issued a second or subsequent citation for violation of §§ 73.55 through 73.58 within a period of 1 year, the vehicle shall be towed at the owner's expense and impounded.
