It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or drive any horse or mule, or to drive any wagon or other vehicle hitched to any horse, or mule, or to run or drive any automobile, motorcycle or other motor vehicle, or to ride any bicycle on, along or across any sidewalk in the city, unless the same be done in the necessary act of crossing the sidewalk, and it shall also be unlawful for any person to hitch any animal in a manner as that the same may get on any sidewalks.
